New student orientation was held at the University of Manitoba Sept. 6 and 7 and the Fort Richmond University Height Neighbourhood Association was there to welcome students.
It was a beautiful fall day and the promenade was alive with excitement as new students as diverse as you can imagine strolled around, picking up orientation packages, taking tours of the facilities and discovering what to expect in the next few weeks. The Neighbourhood Association was there welcoming the new students to the neighbourhood and handing out information about living off campus. What are tenants rights? What are their responsibilities as good neighbours? Thanks to Bernadette McCann and Jacquie Field for being our ambassadors on this occasion .
