The University of Manitoba class of City Planning Master’s students have just released three reports highlighting their research on illegal rooming houses, land use planning, zoning, affordable housing, transportation issues, short term and long term solutions ….. and more!

We want to extend a huge expression of gratitude to Professor Orly Linovksi, her students and all who participated in the research project! THANK YOU!

The community and the City of Winnipeg Zoning and By-Law Task Force assigned to this issue will be meeting in the near future to assess and consider implementation of select recommendations.

MY REQUEST to anyone reading these reports: If you have any ADDITIONAL ideas or suggestions, please E-Mail Councillor Janice Lukes at jlukes@winnipeg.ca
