2-YEAR PROGRESS REVIEW
Combatting Illegal Rooming Houses in Fort Richmond and University Heights
Please join Councillor Janice Lukes, the Fort Richmond University Heights Neighbourhood Association and members of the community for this very important discussion reflecting and preparing for next steps in combatting illegal rooming houses in our community.
Councillor Janice Lukes is currently compiling a report highlighting her two years of work since being elected on the challenges and accomplishments related to combatting illegal rooming houses in Fort Richmond and University Heights. She will be releasing her report at the end of February, and will distribute it in her March newsletter (Subscribe Here if you are not already receiving her monthly E-Newsletters). We will also release it in our Association Newsletter.
At the meeting on March 25, we will:
- Review the work done to date, and what the U of M Master’s students have studied and recommended for short, medium and long-term solutions.
- Discuss next steps with the City of Winnipeg Zoning and By-Law Task Force.
If you have any questions or comments, please email Councillor Janice Lukes: jlukes@winnipeg.ca
We look forward to seeing you at the meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend.
